Accreditations and Authorizations


On May 30, 2025, ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú completed a merger transaction with the Washington Institute for Education and Research (WIER), a nonprofit organization formed to further and support higher education. Included as part of the transaction was the merger of ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú, Inc., into ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú, LLC, with WIER as the sole member. This merger, approved by the United States and Pennsylvania departments of education, allows Keystone to continue operations under its current name and educational mission.

The ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú Board of Trustees, which includes five WIER appointees, is responsible for ensuring that the College fulfills its mission, operates with fiscal integrity, and provides oversight of educational quality while exercising the corporate powers prescribed by the laws of Pennsylvania. The essential functions of the Board cover providing strategic direction, establishing policy, assessing risk, reviewing legal compliance, assurance of sound management, and advocacy for the College and the communities it serves.

In compliance with IRS Notice 2012-52, ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Washington Institute for Education and Research EIN: 92-1206307 and is treated as a disregarded entity. Accordingly, donations and contributions to ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú are eligible donations to a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  The official registration and financial information for ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú LLC may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll-free, within Pennsylvania, 1-800-732-0999. ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) . ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú’s current accreditation status is Accreditation Reaffirmed. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status, taken on February 27, 2026, was to reaffirm accreditation.

MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. The Commission’s geographic area of accrediting activities is throughout the United States.

The Commission makes available the opportunity to submit third party comments regarding an institution’s compliance with its standards for accreditation, policies and procedures, and applicable federal regulatory requirements using its Complaints and Third-Party Form found on its website at

ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú is authorized to grant degrees by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Information regarding the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s (PDE) complaint procedure for postsecondary institutions is available on the PDE website

ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú is also approved for veterans’ benefits.

The Department of Business, Management, and Technology at ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú has received specialized accreditation for its undergraduate business program through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at 11960 Quivira Road in Overland Park, Kansas, USA.
